The microCurt Festival of Video d'Igualada is a contest of shorts realized in video, which is born from the experience of "Tallers de Curtmetratge" and “Rere the For a three-quarter bed one” of Centre Cívic of Fàtima directed to young producers.

The microCurts have to depart from an original idea and have a duration between 1 minute like minimum, and 5 minutes as duration maximum.

There are small histories that explain what it spends and through what we all live. Simple and direct histories compromised with the idea of showing what we are, what we see, what we feel, what we enjoy, what worries us, what to make us laugh, cry and to live... through what it spends unnoticed and what causes us scare.

The spirit of the festival is of there reward those short in which they know by intuition the creative and narrative potentiality of his authors. The “minimal histories” will have to convulse the spectator, beyond the possibilities in the technical resources.
