On Saturday, the 10th of July of 2.010, there will be celebrated in New Baztán (municipality placed to the Southeast of the Community of Madrid, in the Region of Alcala de Henares), VI Edition of the Festival of Musician Rock-Pop of New Baztán “NubaRock“ 2.010, which is initiatory and is organized by the House of the Youth of New Baztán.
In his years of history, the Nubarock has turned into modality of the Rock - pop de la Comunidad of Madrid, giving the opportunity to new not professional musical formations to have a space in which to be able to be announced, in addition to having the possibility of sharing stage with an already consecrated musical group.
This way, in 2005 we are provided with the participation of 8 groups in the format of contest, turning out to be winners En gust; 39 Grades were the managers of closing an edition that turned out to be the whole success to be the first one.
2006 was the year of Shell, the whole event in the region, and a very special moment for a band very related to New Baztán. Before all this, The Personages turned out to be winning between 8 candidates of not professional format.
In 2007, the third edition of the Nubarock gave one more step in his emulation for being a platform of the Rock. Ampiamos the number of candidates and we include previous rounds, which developed in the House of the Youth of New Baztán. The final, which developed in two phases due to the rain, was provided with the participation of The Border, the mythical Spanish band of rock. Another Face took the first award in the contest.
The year 2008 supposed the definitive consecration of the NubaRock. Accompanied by the Rock of Burning, IV Edition of the Festival it turned out to be a success of criticism and publicly; almost thousand persons were present at a Festival that is winning every year more followers. The Previous Rounds, in which there took part groups of several Spanish regions, led to the final to three big musical formations that did the delights of the presents in the final: Lunatique, Maconia and Situation. Finally, Lunatique won in the tightest end.
The last celebrated edition, in the last year 2009, was provided with The Rebels like head of cartel. To the final Rubik gained access the three best groups originated from the Previous Rounds, 3N, and Maconia, which was repeating end and which the cat took to the water, winning in the tightest final.
For this edition 2010, the NubaRocK is going to be a witness of an unrepeatable event, since from distant Terra Galega we will have pleasure in enjoying of incomparable Entire Catastrophe. A lot of Rock, great insured diversion and the big topics of this already mythical band of the Spanish Rock.
As for the development of the Festival, these are the most important dates:
1. Concert - contest Clasificatorio during June, 2010 (the 12th, 13, 19 and 20) with a maximum of 12 not professional groups of style music rock - pop for that they were declaring bankrupt for three awards.
2. Concert - contest, on July 10, 2010, with three winning not professional groups in the rounds previous to style music rock - pop for that they were declaring bankrupt for three awards.
3. Concert of group of professional rock - pop that was acting in last place out of contest.
The awards will consist in:
• 1st AWARD, to the First one Classified under the Contest. Consisting of Trophy and 600 € in cash and the possibility of telonear to the group invited in the Edition 2011 of the NubaRocK.
• 2nd AWARD, to the Second one Classified under the Contest. Consisting of Trophy and 300 € in cash.
• 3rd AWARD, to the Third one Classified under the Contest. Consisting of Trophy and 200 € in cash
