TYPICAL OF THE CONTEST

Directed to all the fans of the movies, the topic is free inside the forms of fiction, reportage, fantasy, experimental...

The challenge is to manage with the whole possible imagination to conclude a movie in flat only one: "The Plane Sequence”.

To preserve a relation with the traditional contest of the "Rotllo", to recover those film makers who already do not arrange of material of Super movies 8 and also to incorporate new producers and the directors, the movie can be rolled by any video camera and the duration must be a maximum of 3 minutes and a half (the duration of a roll of Super 8). The same way the jury will value to include works of major duration as quality and quantity.

Works presented previously in this contest are not admitted.

The movie will consist of a title, the plane sequence and the final credits.

Into the “Plane Sequence” does not admit any still (frame) of only one color (white person, black...), two identical stills (static images), two stills that respect neither a continuity of normal movement (court of camera or edition), nor a still that does not contain scenic movement or of interpretation, as well as it is not allowed to manipulate the texture of the image (distortions, graphic symbol, layers, effects...).

The sound, the title, and the final credits are editables, therefore it is possible to use both a sound ambience and a sound-track edited with effects, comments, dubbings and music. The qualifications and the final credits have to be few duration (the sum of the two cannot exceed 30 seconds and they must not incorporate images).

RECEPTION OF THE VIDEOS

The movies, properly labeled and enclosing the information of contact of the participant, can be delivered in DVD, or format MPG2 (compatible DVD) and they will have to be sent to:

The videos admission ends on June 14, 2010.

VERDICT AND AWARDS

Depending on the presented works, the organizing committee of the contest integrated by members of the Choir Vell, will select up to a whole of 20 works. The list of the finalists and the whole of received works will be published in the blog of the Choir Vell (http://corovell.blogspot.com) on June 28.

The verdict and the projections of the videos finalists will realize on July 3 in the House to Occur rarely i Palet (Carrer Font Vella, 28) to 22'h.

IMPORTANT NOTES

The Organizing Commission of the Contest reserves the right to modify or to alter these bases in case of believing it absolutely necessarily.

The Organizing Commission declines completely the responsibility of any fortuitous accident that could happen to the works presented to contest, nevertheless he gets ready of a modern team and of responsible technical persons.

The works will be qualified by a jury formed by professionals of the world of the image.

All the winners of the awards in cash will acknowledge receipt of the same one. The trophies have to be gathered by the author or representative at once from awards delivery. The organization will not send the trophies.
